In 1982, a group of technical artists formed a small production studio dedicated to bringing professional quality videography and editing to personal videos. Remember When Videos was born.

Owner Michael Nelson pioneered an entirely new industry in the Intermountain West and became this thriving industry’s pacesetter for technical and creative standards.

More recently Michael has founded the Utah Professional Videographers Association (www.upva.org) with the continued desire to increase professionalism and to raise the standards of the industry.

Michael was the first Utahn to attain the credential of Merited Professional Videographer from the International Wedding Video Assoc. (www.weva.com) and one of the first 11 nationwide. Remember When Videos is the only Utah company to recieve the coveted Creative Excellence Award from WEVA.

As the studio has grown, some faces remain the same and some have changed, but we have never forgotten that each production — like each client — is unique and special. A Remember When Videos production becomes a cherished family heirloom to be enjoyed for a lifetime.
